Having kids changes everything. Things that used to take me 30 minutes to do (like grocery shopping) can take well over two hours now, and it can be tough to fit everything I need to do into my schedule now. Over the years I have learned hacks for moms with toddlers and so I want to share a few of them as well as others that I have found from some other great bloggers. From travel friendly snacks to medical, cleaning and DIY tips – you use all the time into creative and fun things for your kids, you will love these time saving hacks for moms with toddlers.

1 – HAVE PORTABLE SNACKS FOR CAR RIDES
Without fail, as soon as we get in the car, my kids will say “i’m hungry” or “i’m thirsty”. To help combat that, I make sure and pack travel friendly snacks like Sprout® Organic baby/toddler food. Their pouches are great for on-the-go and are no-mess. They have great flavors made with fruit and veggies, that are non GMO, and have no additives, fillers or flavors. They are in BPA Free packaging and ready to go. This is my go-to snack for my kids when we are on-the-go. Check it out next time you are at the store. We like to get them at Albertsons.

2 – REMOVE SLIVERS WITH A BAKING SODA PASTE
Mix baking soda and water together to make a paste, apply a small amount to the area with the sliver. Apply a bandage and wait 24 hours, and then remove sliver with tweezers. Repeat as necessary.

3 – USE A LAUNDRY BASKET FOR A TODDLER BATH
This is such a great idea! Kids outgrown the baby baths so fast, and this is a great way to get them used to the bath without having them in the “open water”.

4 – ORGANIZE BY UPCYCLING
Use baby wipe tubs to organize games and cards for your kids. They are also great to use for organizing toys, crayons, art supplies and more!

5 – SEAL BATHTUB TOYS WITH HOT GLUE
Bath toys can have a hole in them, which leads to mold and mildew inside the toys. Seal them off before the first use to prevent these problems.

6 – USE A VISUAL TO HELP MEASURE TOILET PAPER
When kids are potty training, or as they grow, they tend to use way more toilet paper than needed. Put a visual on the wall to help them realize how much to use, and you will be surprised by how much longer your rolls will last.

7 – UPCYCLE SOAP AND LOTION BOTTLES TO MAKE A WATER BALLOON PUMP
I love this idea. My kids love Water Balloons but I hate filling them so they don’t get to play with them as much as they want. Letting them do it themselves without having to worry about them running the water for hours on end is a win for both of us!

8 – DIY COLORING CASE
I love this idea from Stacy shares. She has a full tutorial about making a coloring case from a DVD box. It is easy and really fun. They are compact and perfect for travel, church, school, doctor appointments and more. If you have kids, you will want one of these!

9 – MAKE CHORES A GAME & REWARDING
Tape off a section of the floor and tell your toddler that she will get a prize or a treat for getting all of the mess into the square. Hide small change (pennies, nickels, dimes) under couches, toys, clothes and other things so that your kids will be more motivated to clean up. This is a great way for them to get an allowance and help with the chores at the same time.

10 – MAKE FUN EDUCATIONAL GAMES
Kids love learning. Make it easy and fun for them by creating games that will keep them entertained as well as teach them things like this ABC knock down game. You could make games like this so many ways, with Capitol and Small letters and have them match, or put them in order, etc. Use what you have on hand and get creative.
